ERIC
NAZARIAN
(Writer/Director)
"The
Blue Hour" is Eric Nazarian’s first feature film
as writer-director. Eric is a graduate of the University of
Southern California’s School of Cinema-Television. Born in
Armenia and raised in Los Angeles, Eric worked at his
father’s photo lab throughout high school, eventually
becoming a staff photographer for AIM magazine in college.
At USC film school he majored in Film Production. In his
senior year he wrote "Land of Plenty," a post-war screenplay
about child war survivors based on his experiences as a
photojournalist in the Southern Caucuses that won the AFFMA
Screenplay Award. He is currently working on a law
enforcement saga and an international drama about
globalization.
LYNNETTE
RAMIREZ
(Producer)
A Los Angeles native, Lynnette Ramirez began her film career
in development with Fountainbridge Films, Sean Connery’s
production company. In 2002, Lynnette launched Vida Films,
an independent film production company. Prior to the The
Blue Hour she served as a co-producer on 2 Days starring
Paul Rudd. Currently she has several projects in
development, including Sluts, a coming of age comedy and
Nazarian’s next pic Blowback. She is the Sr. VP of
Development and Production for George Lopez Presents, based
at Warner Premiere, a division of Warner Bros. and co-writer
of Deep in the Heat of Texas that actress Eva Longoria will
executive produce and star for Touchstone.
BRIAN
KNAPPMILLER
(Producer)
Brian’s producing career began in 2000 when he produced an
international 2000 summer Olympic campaign for Samsung cell
phones. This led to dozens of other commercial campaigns and
music videos, before Brian moved to television in 2002.
Producing both non-fiction and scripted programming, Brian
has produced over 75 hours of television including such
shows as “Monster House”, “The Deadliest Catch” and “Lobster
Wars” for the Discovery Channel, and “Ice Road Truckers” for
the History Channel. Currently, Brian has several television
and feature projects in development.
